His influence on the US influence on Climate Change is marginal. His impact on how the US are perceived in the rest of the world is huge. American leaders are either laughed at or ignored. I can’t remember when US influence on what’s happening in the world has been as low as it is at present. As that influence is usually so malign, that’s got to be a good thing.
You posted that 34% caring most about the election is good for Trump. I pointed out that more of those people in that sample size favour Biden on the economy.
I am more worried that a day doesn't go by when you don't post another nonsense article by the daily mail.
It isn't nonsense though because Biden made another huge gaff just like yesterday when Obama had to call his name three times and had to be told he didn't have a mask on. Or last week when he forgot the name of the president. It isn't like he forgets little things. People should be worried about the state of his mind as at his age it could be something serious like early dementia and he could be elected to a position that could overwhelm him.
Sorry, it was a cheap dig. But I do think it is a nonsense article. I often confuse names and I also make many mistakes when speaking in public. Not quite on the same scale as I just lecture to small groups at uni and do a few research conferences. But still, I make mistakes and I understand that it's easy to look like an idiot in front of a crowd. And I'm 33 and pretty certain I'm of sound mind. And anyway, I'd rather have someone with dementia as president than Donald Trump.
Theres a 10% swing at present in favour of containing Covid in some key states. If this opinion is linked to voters feelings in relation to the economy then this could get very interesting very quickly.
I’m getting fed up of going to bed knowing that I am going to be very unhappy in the morning. Don’t think Trump will steamroller it but I expect him to win
Apparently Biden needs florida to stand a chance and if donald gets it. Early bed for them all im guessing
It’s the opposite mate. Biden has a path without Florida but Trump doesn’t realistically unless there’s some very odd results
Biden doing well so far in Jacksonville and Tampa, which Trump won in 2016. It’s looking very close in Florida.
Just watching ITV's coverage.....the spending figures are incredible, the Democrats have spent 150 million dollars in Florida. There are 40 million more people in the UK than Florida with a spending cap of £19.5m.
Looking like Trump probably has Florida. Biden doesn’t need it though and even with Trump having Florida Biden still is the favourite. Ohio and Texas looking interesting, but the count order with early voting could be skewing it slightly
Skewing it massively depending on what opinion you’re reading. Worry trend for Democrats is the significant voter turnout today and how Election Day voters are appearing to be significantly red, throwing the poll data out of the window. All speculation of course as the results come in.
This is incredible stuff....just heard, what on the face of it, was an intelligent woman say that Trump will win because of divine intervention.
I'm amazed that the BBC have managed to find somebody more right-wing than Andrew Neil to co-present the live results with him. Sometimes it seems like he can't believe it himself.
