Biden has a very problematic past, and I'm not sure I could even bring myself to vote for him, but nobody's going to convince me that he's more problematic than Trump. If you have an issue with pretty much anything Biden has said or done in terms of social issues then either you have more of an issue with Trump or you should probably be locked up for your own safety.
Biden believes in Climate Change. Trump does not. Biden believes in a woman's right to choose what happens with her body. Trump does not. Biden believes in gay rights and gay marriage. Trump does not. Need I go on?
They had to go back 43 years for that??? You can probably go back 43 hours for some ***** Trump has come out with. Christ almighty.
1977? Trumps saying these things Now . I don’t think for one minute that the only alternative to Trump has much more integrity tbh. But Trumps divisive and unrelenting crusade to crush rather than heal and refusal to condemn White Supremacist groups and almost call on these groups to rally and resist makes him a very bad leader and imo unfit to Govern . My personal opinion is I don’t want him as leader of the USA as it has such an impact on my life and what’s happening in the world . He has widened conflict in the Middle East and he has no diplomatic skills whatsoever just a playground bully to be despised .
Most people on here would be considered centre-left I would have thought, everywhere except the USA. Biden is indeed centre right by our standards, but a lot of Americans call him a socialist, which is absolutely ridiculous. I've also noticed that a lot of Americans are completely unable to differentiate liberal social democracy (Scandinavia), social communism (the old Soviet block) and fascist communism (North Korea). They seem to think that they are all pretty much the same thing, which I find amusing and disturbing in equal measures.
The beauty of doing it through a betting exchange is that you can cash out at any time and I decided to take the £588 rather than wait for it to rumble on through the courts. For what it's worth.... I still think Trump will be next president. The move to appoint Amy Coney-Barrett to the Supreme Court prior to the election could prove to be a Trump masterstroke.
Masterstroke, also known as dictatorship. I think you made a good decision. I think Biden wins without PA, so the courts shouldn't matter
A growing feeling that Arizona is back in play and could turn red. Never dull on the rumours front is this chaos. Also disturbing news (rumours) that the PA Supreme Court signed off on post election ballots not needing to have validation that they were sent before Election Day.
Yeah, some places had AZ incorrectly reporting percentage, so called it early. I still think Biden has it, looking at what's still to count, but it's close. I haven't seen that with PA, got a link? I just hope it doesn't come down to that at this point. I think Biden takes NV, WI and MI and PA doesn't matter. We'll see though
Perhaps Biden will win, but if Trump believes there was foul play with the mail-in ballots (and he clearly does) it will go to the Supreme Court for adjudication. That's when having the court stacked in your favour is likely to pay off. It matters little to me though either way now because I'm not politically orientated and, more importantly, I'm not American.
looking like Wisconsin is finished counting with Biden on a 20,697 victory. Trump will request a recount, but in previous years that's only changed it by ~300.
Having someone in the white house that does not believe in climate change is dangerous for the whole planet.
