It was the WI Attorney General I believe that I heard saying it “should be done by December”. I’m not sure, in history a recount has only produced a couple of hundred change. Unlikely to overturn 20,000

Having more than doubled my money betting on a Trump win on Wednesday I’ve just backed him again. The odds are 7/1 now so there is good money to be made.

Have you backed him each way?

No. I’ve just backed him outright on an exchange. If Arizona goes red and Trump wins Georgia and Pennsylvania (as I expect he will) then his odds will improve considerably and I can cash out. Like last time, I don’t need him to win, I just need his odds of doing so to improve.

How come you're using multiple accounts to post?

I've always wondered that. It triggers an admin alert all the time that I have to 'reject' as it's Orsenkaht on both accounts.

Not suggesting it is anything sinister, just curious :)

Did you manage to escape the UK??

You’re a betting man aren’t you Mr Orsenkaht? You know it makes sense.

I'm not suggesting anything either. That's why I just close down the alert each time without asking.

I'm currently in a hotel at Zurich Airport. I'm still waiting for official confirmation that Lufthansa/Swiss Airlines are willing to 'decouple' my original Saturday flight so that I can get my flight to Mexico on Saturday (without being on the London to Zurich part of it). I've been waiting for that to come through since Sunday and still not confirmed, but I figured now that I'm here I can go and visit the travel desk in person at the airport and get the assurances I need that they're going to let me on the plane.

Smart bet when you're sitting on excess funds from the first winning bet. Odds aren't in your favour of it happening, but low outlay for a decent win on the slim chance it does swing like that.

I think this stems from an incident a few (4-5?) years ago. I got in a tangle with my account/username - I may have locked myself out. I think I resolved it by setting up again, but I messaged Gally as I didn't want to contravene any rules. I had no idea there was still a duplicate floating around. Any way you can delete it Ben?

I'll get Gally on it. I think it logs you in as a different one from time to time, so sometimes it posts from the image of a plane and the other just the yellow background. Don't ask me why!

Yep! Never been a 'trader' though. I once made about 400-500 on a sprint race on one of Mick Channon's by backing and laying it while well clear. Thing was, I didn't fully understand how I'd done it because I definitely wasn't up to the speed of the 'in-running' boyos on Betfair! So I was a bit wary after that.

I've deleted your other account. So any previous posts from the 'yellow avatar' account now show as 'guest'. You're main one that you're using here should be fine and still says 'well-known member'.
