Oh, I know from family, friends colleagues etc. Also that there is issues out there. My point is that a lot of what’s flying around online at the minute (including a lot that Trump is tweeting out, like the knob he is) that’s just blatantly false and misinformation - which is being used to storm the counting places.
The higher turnout is almost irrelevant though when you take that stat on board against the backdrop of BLM and Trump being accused of racism so often. Based on media coverage I think we'd all have expected it to go backwards
It's just been on the news - Trump supporters in one state chanting "stop the count" whilst others in another state chant "count those votes" I can't wait until the racist tw*t is out and hopefully the criminal proceedings lurking in the background will come to the fore.
Really looking forward to the litigation tbh. Will either be proved, in which case good, or it won't, in which case fantastic entertainment from the Trumptons
So why is the voter fraud prevalent in the last few states? Some with only 6 seats? Rather than Florida or any of the other major states that called early (for Trump). it’s OK, by the time I got to the end of my question I’d got the answer in other news; d ya know where voter turnout has gone through the roof? Among native Americans. Maybe those Trump supporters chanting at them to go back where they came from has really pi ssed them off.
Or the loyal Supreme Court that trump has stacked will find in his favour despite evidence to the contrary. That’s what I’m worried of.
Yep I think you answered your own question, if he wins a state that’s fine, if he loses a state there’s fraud in the voting system.
it’s not an accusation though is it. The NYT drilled into the long term links between the string family and the KKK.
I was using the phrase 'accused' because of the numerous different accusations/stories/facts. Not to enter a debate on whether he's racist or not. I mean that's not the point I was discussing at all.
I’m finding your shy Trumpism fascinating to be fair. Its a decent insight into why the polls get it so wrong.
I wouldn't call it shy Trumpism. I do like to challenge extreme views or comments though as if there's only one side or opinion to a story - and especially the blanket labels of people from the US that often get thrown around on here.
Is it even likely to get that far though? I don't really know how it works but as I understand it has to pass through various courts first, and even then only about 1% of cases submitted are actually accepted. So when he says 'we're going to go to the supreme court', he's quite possibly talking out of his ar$e Also sounds like there would be huge pressure for coney barrett to recuse.
Republican or Democrat, the Judges on the Supreme Court have a duty to abide by the law. The Republican Judges can’t overturn an election decision without there being irrefutable evidence to support the decision just because they would prefer a Republican President. I find it surprising that you can refute the idea of there being voter fraud despite there being evidence suggesting it may have occurred yet, at the same time, casting aspersions of corruption in the highest court in America. It’s difficult not to conclude that your hatred of Trump is severely clouding your judgement.
There was a previous Supreme Court decision 2 weeks ago that tied 4/4 (before Trump’s latest judge was pushed through) that tried to stop mail-in votes that were cast on time but arrived after the Election Day (due to the postal service) in PA from counting. All Trump appointed Judges voted to stop legitimate votes from counting. Trump has said on multiple occasions that he is counting on Amy Coney Barrett to ‘save’ the election.
Update. Michigan state judge has tossed the request to stop the vote. Was submitted too late, and was lodged against the wrong person
Yep. A lawsuit to stop the counting, after the votes have been counted. Couldn't make it up. Would be funny if it wasn't so insane.
Why would he need Amy Coney Barrett? If a court hearing was decided by a simple show of hands on whether the Judges would prefer Trump or Biden wouldn’t they have won anyway with a 5-3 Republican majority before Coney Barrett was appointed?
The Chief Justice, John Roberts has been leaning more ‘democrat’ on a lot of issues over the past 18 months or so. He voted against it.
