As long as their starting XI is self isolating too that's OK

Might play in to our hands this if half their squad is missing and they don't abandon it.

Can I be first to have P-P as my score prediction?

They won't though will they? They'll still have all players available. Same with Millwall the other week.

I was just hoping they were a close knit bunch down there.

The cynical part of me thinks that we won't see mass abandonments until much later in the season. And most abandonments will be requested by teams who are all of a sudden caught up in a relegation battle.

It's equally cynical but I'd go other way. Abandonments through season not being played due to fixture pile up and sorted out on a points per game basis.

if the EFL are expecting a spate of cancellations, which is not beyond the realms of possibility, then you are right, the EFL should state their chosen method of deciding the season NOW, rather than wait for the shitstorm to happen and be unduly influenced by certain clubs.

Decide on average PPG now, publicise the fact - and clubs can decide for themselves whether it is worth risking playing the Covid card

I think they've already said it's all or nothing though. I can't remember the exact article but unless (circa 75%) of the games are played then the season is abandoned.

All games should be finished this season even if arranged for another day. Last season never got cancelled so this season cannot be.

Don't forget though, even if they put out a team of dinner ladies and kit men we'd still have to put the ball into the net to stand a remote chance of winning.
Can't see that happening right now.

Made me chuckle the reading out of results last satdy on Sky.
“Match postponed Covid affected home/away side” or words to that effect. Mentioning home or away as if it mattered.
