There’s some odd comments on this post but the oddest suggest we’re better waiting until January before we sign the Striker(s) we need.

erm.... no offence fellow BBSs but where have you been for the last three years. Signing a Striker when we need one is likely to the last thing we’ll do. Only basing that comment on the evidence like.

He said himself that the free agent market is full of players that could take 2 months to get fit. Why blow what could be a large chunk of his transfer budget, on a player who might be fit in 8 weeks time, when he can sign a player who will be fit, when the window opens, in 8 weeks time.

Thankfully he hasn't panicked and thrown money at overpriced guff like Rudy ******* Gestede.

 

How on earth did we manage to sign Moore & Woodrow then ?, they were signed in the last 3 years & turned out o.k , we have a new manager who no doubt will have targets he wants the club to pursue in january instead of signing some unfit striker who nobody else wants, just to satisfy the critics amongst the fan base , give the guy time to do his job .

the **** up ONCE AGAIN was made by the board by not signing players during the window, despite allowing Jacob Brown to leave.

 

Probably be 12 weeks regardless don’t have much faith we will sort our business out at the start of the window.

 

I mean, I imagine we try to get business done early. Selling clubs always try and hold off until the end of the window to sell, so they can get the most money. That's why the majority of any teams business, is done on deadline day. It's not exclusive to our club.

I don't know who is available free so can't really comment on whether we're better off signing one or eating and signing one at 1 minute past midnight when the window opens but one thing I find rather amusing is people saying we're better off waiting than blowing out transfer budget now. On free signings who we could quite easily offer a 2 month trial to

Your email seems to suggest that the Coach is the one who decides on who and when we sign. An interesting theory but I think you may be confusing BFC with another Club.

 

So you believe that after Struber arrived, the signing of Ludwig, Solbaur & Ritzy were purely coincidental

 

Come on man. I don’t want to fall out with you about it but if you think the Coach (whoever it is) dictates who plays for this Club and who is sold, then we’re miles apart.

 

I am not falling out with anyone but the strategy that the spreadsheet had brought was significantly changed when Struber brought in the three players last january , that is not coincidence, it is a fact , the age limit for one changed & he must have had imput to bring players in he knew well . I would expect our new coach also to have imput in january , I never said anything about the sale of players & I never said he dictates anything but I do believe he will be involved in recruitment .

 

Not sure eating a player will solve our Striker problems
