o/t - just Wimbledon programme/booklet from their Doncaster match - first match at Plough Lane - an excellent publication.

Sent for mine too Taff, then send it to my brother in Wombwell to read. Shame he's a Millers fan ;)

Only ever went once to the old Plough Lane.
    We won.
Rodger Wilde scored if I remember correctly.

Rumours they got it after someone picked up a womble in the local food market and ate it.

No you're right Hooky. Something to do with domestics and not wanting to be around certain fans at the club. Started going to Millmoor instead and the rest is history. When I was younger tended to float round watching whoever was at home but then Sam Yates came in to where I worked to insure his car and that was that. Decided to watch Barnsley full time and despite the lows never regretted it. Made some great friends and had some magic hilarious away days

Thanks. Didn’t he win a national competition of some sort that benefitted the club. ?

Though to be fair time has healed the rift and he occasionally popped into Oakwell before the virus . Doesn't go to the away games now unless it's a new ground
