No it's not. There is no automatic recount in GA. It has to be requested by a candidate.

All the SoS was saying is that it's inevitable, he wasn't announcing it.

My partner’s premium went up from $190 a month for cover to $600 a month because of Obama Care. It’s a red herring in terms of being such a good thing for the American people.

I don’t think they’re against it but they’re coming from a standing start of zero. When we talk about fixing our healthcare it’s an increase in taxes of £13 a month for the greater good (or whatever the figure was). They have no way of funding it without an insane raise in taxes.

They’re also not massive fans of state run schemes in a lot of places. So the government running healthcare and controlling that for you is met with some apprehension. Always got to remember how very different to us they are in their beliefs, history, etc.

You’ve just quoted me and repeated exactly what I said? It’s automatic if the candidate requests it and the gap is within .5?

    Calm down mate

That's why I'm trying to move back to Sydney, when normal travel resumes. It is one of the most expensive places in the world, but so is San Francisco and California. However, I believe my mate down there pays around AUD 250-300 per month, which is totally optional (like BUPA, etc. in the UK), for a family of four.

Medical savings will cover a car payment, or go towards rent.

Loko alludes to it in his response. The people don't trust the government, on either side of aisle, to run anything.

The Veterans Association, Medicare, Social Security, Obamacare, etc. being a few examples.

However, I expect that to change dramatically now that they have all seen how smoothly the 2020 election has been handled. /s

FYI. No one is allowed to be turned away from an A&E, illegals included, for emergency treatment.

Fair enough I can’t argue with someone who lives there but something good must have happened with OBamacare plenty of poor Americans have bigged it up on English television .
Suppose there winners and losers in everything.

Do you think he should face repercussions if his allegations are false and have no basis ?
Or do you think it should be left despite all the turmoil his accusations cause if (when) they are turned away ?

Sorry I didnt reply to your requests earlier Iwas sidetracked by having to do some work.- I just thought that this was fairly conclusive that there would be a recount
This was what led me to say there would be a recount. Im sticking with that there will be one too

Oh I’m not saying there won’t be one. I just thought there was something that said it was announced by the SoS or something like that, which I thought was odd, as there’s no provision for that in GA. it’s inevitable, of course.

Must say, it's going to be an interesting psychodrama watching Trump wriggle on the hook!

So what happens in those circumstances? Say you don't have any coverage and get hit by a car - you wake up in the hospital ****** and bankrupted by the cost?

It's just so insane. Some epilepsy sufferers carry cards saying to not call an ambulance if they have a fit as they'll get charged for it and it can be $200-$900 or even more depending on area.

My fear is, in order to try to bring the Country back together, Biden adopts a philosophy of ‘let bygones be bygones’. I don’t think he should.
He should go after alleged wrongdoers (through due process) at state and federal level and ensure that if they have been involved in criminal activity, they are prosecuted. Trump has spread a cancer across the USA. You can’t appease cancer or put a sticking plaster on it. It needs tackling and removing. Maybe then the USA can come to terms with itself and play a more progressive role in the world.

I agree with you but I think as the chambers of government are finely balanced he’ll have to take the vast majority of Republicans with him .
I think he’ll go along with the re checks and law suits knowing that due process has been done and give Trump his rope .
Maybe wait till the Trumps alienate themselves with their continuous jibes in the media and the vast majority of the public and more importantly the republicans get tired of them .
The Republicans will get a new darling then the authorities go for the Trumps and revisit all their past dealings .

All this time I say whats wrong with trump and theirs biden....the nonce. Nothing can get worse. I honestly feel weak watching that biden too. If he was in the uk, I think we wouldn't just move him out. Meanwhile Trump would probably work at asos
