https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table Six points off the play offs and six points off relegation. How great it feels to be able to enjoy a rare moment of mid table mediocrity where we can enjoy a season far more relaxing than normal. On the downside we've helped the Pigs off bottom of the table for the first time.
Mediocrity feels nice! Progress. Three wins in not a lot of time, 9 points from 12 for VI, after getting through a period with injuries too. He’s now got two weeks with them all (except Schmidt and Halme), get them fit and work on the finer details of his shape and tactics. It couldn’t have started much better really and this break comes at a good time too.
I like us where we are. I'm relaxed this season. Hope we meandre through until January then kick-on afterwards. January will be key another left back and a dynamic forward.
I'd be happy with where we are come the end of the season. Building in the right direction. Keep a hold of our key players, replace the one or two who will inevitably leave, and a bit more depth to the squad, and push for the top 10. I do think we're only a striker away from the top half. Someone who can hold the ball up, and bring the midfield into the attack, or someone who can attack crosses into the box. In Brittain, we've got someone who can offer us a genuine threat out wide, for the first time since Harvey Barnes was here. Valerian will know this, and I'm sure, try to add numbers in January.
