    Brilliant this.

The O.P always bangs on about CLICKBAIT from the MSM or LAMESTREAM MEDIA as it's hilariously known.

Then he titles a thread with that. Truly outstanding work.

Kirsty changed the lyric in 1992 - with the blessing of the band.

Yes, not that it should have been banned for that reason, more for it's oft repeated lyric "Relax, don't do it, when you want to come" and the inclusion of a massive orgasm in the video. Mind you nobody would bat an eyelid these days....

Yeah madness. He was a cross dressing washing line thief. Mind you there's a lot of them about these days.

But that still.leaves 10%. Its a word and the Pogues themselves no longer used it when performing the song.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying they banned it even though it got to number one .
BBC are in a damned if you do dammed if you don’t tbh unlike commercial radio where it’s left to their own devices .
BBC listeners and viewers own a stake in their broadcast so often find themselves in between two or even more opinions . Whereas commercial radio has a somewhat stuff em attitude cos the advertisers are paying the bills etc and attract listeners on they get what we give attitude within reason of course .

Did you just make that upon the spot?
The phrase PC was unheard of in the late 60’s whilst every major recording artist covered child abuse, murder, rape, drugs, the list is literally endless.

really? I'm not questioning it because I don't think it's true. I just want to hear this Syd Barrett stuff. is there other stuff out there which didn't make it to Piper's?
