    One of the most hazardous side effects of lockdown in my experience.

    Yes but, they’ve been selling popcorn and crisps in Cinemas for years. I mean, you sit quiet watching the trailers and adverts and as soon as the main film starts, cue the mass rustling of packets and the crunching and chomping of their contents. Should make them all eat marshmallows out of a pillow case

    Someone I know would still make that sound like a horse chomping through a bag of apples, whilst simultaneously putting a rinse cycle on in their mouth.

    Totally agree, my wife is horrific, on a evening she regularly goes to the crisp bag and pulls out a packet of smiths ready salted, the noise she makes to me sounds like a camel chomping on a bowl of pebbles, absolutely hideous, to a point where I always get up, put the kettle on and wait about 10 mins before going back in, also I will add savages who slurp their tea, OMG, i work with a few ex gurkha lads and its saps my will to live

    I absolutely hate it, it’s one of the only good things about the staff room now being shut. There was a woman who made awful chewing and crunching noises and then as soon as she finished she whipped a toothbrush out and started noisily brushing her teeth whilst sat there. Every day.

    Why is it a side effect of lockdown Fi? Do you eat in separate rooms when "in normal conditions" Serious question :)

    I can clear a room instantly lol :)

    I remember when I joined the Control Room in my job, several people said beware of "Steve" on Night shifts, he farts a lot. OK says I. By the end of the 2nd Night shift with "Steve" he's had enough. I was crowned the new King of farting lol :);)

    When I'm eating, I'm too busy enjoying my food to take any interest in other people. I could be sat next to the noisiest eater on the planet and I wouldn't know it.

    Or maybe I am the noisiest eater on the planet, and just don't know it.
