Yup. Agree. I’d guess if you work hard and work with her - you’d be fine. Anything else than that, I can imagine it’d be an interesting job..... Like you say - as Home Secretary you need some balls. They rely on people below them to implement and support actions.
coming over here, taking our civil servants jobs. You should vote to leave the EU to show em, that’s do it.
You’d guess. You’d imagine. Like you say. You assured me 15 minutes ago you knew exactly what the inner workings of the civil service were. who knew.
What qualifies you to make claims like that? That’s what I got asked - can you substantiate that? LOL. Joking btw.
I’ve not worked for her - so I don’t know. None of us have. But I have dealt with the upper echelon of Whitehall Civil Servants in the past - and more recently work with people who regularly still do. Think that’s what I said, 16mins ago.
Apparently, one of the reasons for letting Patel off the hook is that the behavior wasn't brought to her attention. So to deal with someone who is bullying you, you have to complain to the bully? What do they think her reaction to that would have been? Integrity seems to me to have totally gone out of the window in the world we live in.
She should jack it in, bet she could earn a fortune as a top end dominatrix with all the ex public school boys
But you don’t know what she’s demanding them to do change. Working with her when you believe something is wrong and not saying anything is cowardly and not fine when you’re in a position of trust as the hierarchy of the Civil Service are. ‘Work Hard’ that Tory Mantra trikes again. ‘Needing some balls’ my arse, She’s an MP and a Govt Minister it’s par for the course stop trying to glorify her. Perhaps the person/s with balls are those that have stood up to her and resigned their positions because of a ****** of a Prime Minister
Anyway, we all have different thoughts on this matter, which is good. That’s what freedom of speech is about. I’m not here to argue - just friendly debate. I’m off out now to the pub.... oh wait.
It’s about time we have a woman of substance in that important post. Because her hard stance on illegal immigrants, terrorists and stop and search has got my support. Although I don’t agree with her on capital punishment.
You need to check all of the legal battles the Home Office have lost on her watch. When the attorney general and the home secretary aren't capable of adhering to the law, you know you're in trouble. Whitehall officials have tried to walk back many ministers, it's almost like they're using the power of the state to line their pockets and to impart their own twisted view of the world. Where will it end? Who's going to be our Rudy, standing in a B&Q carpark, between a pulse and cocktails and Coop funeral place, physically excreting the sh*t being spewed from their mouths?
Woman of substance my arse, any decent PM would’ve been long shot of her. No scrap that, they wouldn’t have let her anywhere near a Govt Dept. In the first place.
Friday night uneducated views on immigration, enforcement, policing and general race baiting. The usual
We have become too soft in this country. The pendulum needs to swing the other way. Firm but fair. As for Windrush - that was a disgrace and people responsible should be prosecuting for that. But Pritti can’t be blamed for that - it is something that has gone under the radar for years.
