    Did anyone know him? He was so prolific on here and he just stopped. He seemed really, really nice, I hope he's OK.

    I can't remember how or why he left but interestingly (or not) if you go to his profile and try to view all old messages by him it says none found, if you go to the search button and start typing his name his account isn't shown. That usually happens when someone is banned I think but I can't think why he would have been

    He wouldn't have been banned, there's no way. I can't believe that is the case.

    Only other thing I can think of is that maybe he asked for his account archiving or deactivating or something. Or maybe it just does that for everyone who hasn't posted for ages. He hasn't been on since 2017

    I think I’m friends with him on Facebook. He came in The White Horse for a pint many moons ago when I was running that place in Fulham

    Me and him didn’t see eye to eye on here.
    But as usual - we seemed ok when we were eye to eye.
    American wife.
    I’ll just have a guess why he dosen’t post - and it sort of reinforces my post of the other day - it’s because of the abuse and negativity on here.
    There are many many people sat in the same boat.

    I met him a few times years ago and he is a thoroughly nice bloke
    I vaguely remember him saying he had lost enthusiasm for the BBS and he just stopped posting. His last activity on here was in 2017. His account is still valid but for some reason I don’t understand he doesn’t appear in searches.

    You've got that wrong mate.You get abuse for being an arsehole. I get abuse for being an arsehole. He wasn't an arsehole, so didn't get it. Maybe from arseholes like you and I occasionally, but no, that wasn't it.

    I'm not saying you are an arsehole, but you act like one on here sometimes. You reap what you sow. If you don't want and don't like the reaction you get on here, stop acting like a dick. If I act responsibly on here I very, very seldom get an adverse reaction. When I act like a dick I get treated like one. Deservedly. I don't care, I don't moan about it, I get what I deserve. You think you've got a right to act like an utter mong and then be treated with respect. You haven't. Be you, you're nice, if you acted like you people would treat you with respect. You've invented this persona that courts controversy and then acts all offended when people react, and it's just so fk*cing boring. Stop it.

    There's two BBS sites in effect. Live and Archive. After a certain time everything moves to archive. Because it's so big. He hasn't posted anything in the time frame that is currently 'Live'. It's all in archive. Search doesn't search in archive.

    No conspiracy, just time frame.

    Mate if it’s the same guy then he’s definitely ok. Married, doing well, drinking around the pubs of Nottinghamshire/Yorkshire, etc.

    He’s a good mate of mine. He’s doing great and lives in Nottingham area with his wife, an American like it was mentioned earlier. He’s on Facebook posting drinking in pubs. He’s a great lad. Big supporter of the reds. I’m sure he still reads posts on here but doesn’t post himself. He also post on a regular basis on the Facebook group The Stay Inn if you want to get in touch.
