We play 3 upfront and we only have one quality striker. Chaplin and Frieser are OK and run about a lot. Schmit isn't good enough in my opinion. Good opportunity for Victor. We need him to come good. We just need to keep getting results until January and is vital we strengthen up front.

Rather play Simoes in that position yes he’s raw and a bit lightweight but can be tricky and is a lot better prospect for us than Freiser

Bring in Bramall and Adeboyejo for Chaplin and Frieser. In fact you could put a card board cut out in place of Frieser if you wanted.

And I suspect, a signing that Struber had some influence in, after which, Struber had the audacity to say he needed strikers, after signing a poor one.

Works hard, keeps the shape well, but really doesn't offer much. He is, however, less of a liability than Chaplin who gives the ball away far more often than Frieser and you can almost guarantee the attack will break down if Chaplin receives the ball. But Chaplin is capable of moments of skill and will score goals that Frieser doesn't look capable of.

Ideally neither would be in the side. But they're the best we have. You can't fault the work rate of either but that's not enough at this level. Suspect they'd both do very well in the league below.

To be fair I agree with that - Chaplin has been really poor since his purple patch pre lockdown. It shows up our lack of options up there too.

He’s shown moments of brilliance. Much like Andersen last season, I suspect he’ll come good given time.

He’s got the ability to drop a shoulder and get past a defender with his back to goal that rivals anything I’ve seen in a red shirt. He’s not shown it often enough though as of yet.

I would hazard a guess that Freezer`s stats measured by the fitness vests they wear are quite impressive. Closest we`ve got to Brown I imagine.

The alternative is Luke Thomas which is why he’s playing. The wide players in the front 3 are the clear weak links for me
