    Fair play to him. He's jumped ahead of Schmidt, Simoes, Thomas and potentially Frieser, in the pecking order in recent weeks.

    Out of interest, would you have said the same about Woods, Toney, Armstrong etc. based on their performances at a similar stage in their development for us?

    Walters too. We've had some right duffers. That said I can't remember us playing to a centre forwards strengths in Championship since Shipperley and Dyer.

    Victor needs to do a lot of ball control training. He is strong and keen but poor in this area. If he receives a ball he cannot pull it down it bounces away from him. Same when trying to run on with it , it gets away from him.
    If he gets this under control he will improve, if he does not then how is he going to become an asset to this team. He has had long enough to make his mark
    And it is only our lack of strikers that is giving him his chance. He has to take it
    He should watch videos also of Ronnie Glavin
