    Normally in every season which ever team you play in your opening game is first team you play at the beginning of the start of the second part of the season, But for some reason this season that hasn’t happened..... just wondering why...........what’s everyone’s thoughts on this.

    Not necessarily, I’ve known ‘quick turnaround games’ Sure it’s happened whereby we’ve played a team Twice before we’ve played another team once, ( not through postponements)

    I may be wrong but I don’t think that sort of thing has happened for a few years now. It did used to happen though.

    I've had a quick look and can't see any season in the last 12 where this has happened. It probably happened in the past but not to my knowledge of the last 20 odd years

    In one Championship season (2008 I think?) we played Doncaster Rovers at home at the beginning of October and away at the end of October. We won both games.

    Maybe fitting 2 games a week in as done it, but as others have said I don`t think has happened for a while.
