Just what I've seen and read on social media, I would say that after reading it the majority of other club fans are in support of that odious club
Dont think any other clubs with fans in ground have booed it today. I can understand people not been happy with blm protesting in lockdown but booing a stance on racism is very low and I'm sure any black players or supporters of millwall cant of been happy with today.
But it didn’t happen at any other grounds with fans in today did it. So how can you say it would happen at most grounds
Tbh and imo I didn't say it would happen, I said i think it will happen, more so when more fans are allowed back in, btw i aint condoning it whatsoever, I'm just saying " what I think" will happen
Very much doubt the majority of other club fans are in support of Millwall. There’s just a lot of brain dead racist c.nuts on social media.
It wouldn't at most grounds. Sadly we are liable to be without sin if any club is, although I must admit in more than 25 years of season ticket holding in the same seat, I've never heard anything racist at all. I suspect that the ponty might be where that goes on. Anyone who exhibits owt like that should be banned for life. That's simple enough. Why we go on and on about it on here as though it's something that we're ashamed of and b eat ourselves with sticks with is beyond me. It never interferes with my life at all on a daily basis. Could that be because I treat everyone as I find them?
No worries if someone next to me was booing I wouldnt be happy. I dont think palmer, williams, odour, victor or even a club legend like dyer who's lad is in the accademy would feel too happy with it too if it happened at oakwell. Would be quite embarrassing imo.
Just had a quick scan of that thread. It's so sad. To be honest I'm leaning towards the opinion that there'll be booing at Oakwell when we're allowed back in. I'll probably go home if this happens tbf.
I had a chat with a perfectly reasonable Millwall fan at Wembley Park tube station after the playoff final. I must have been very lucky that he was atypical.
Nope. Pretty much to a man it reads like the Millwall board posted earlier on this thread. ‘All lives matter’ is the theme.
None of our fans should be going to that pilot game (1,000 fans) intending to boo a gesture by players, staff and officials that shows they are United in the fight for equality. We have directors of the club of various ethnicities. Our Head Coach is a French-born, German-speaking black man. One of his assistants is black. We have a number of black players. We have a Pole, a Dane, Austrians, a Finn. American CEO. Our club secretary’s family are Lebanese. I could go on and on. We are - in terms of staff - one of the most diverse, multi-cultural clubs on the planet I imagine. To boo that sign of unity pre-kick off is a big statement to make on behalf of Barnsley FC fans. I’m glad to see the majority on here are of sound mind on this issue and would like to think you’ll make sure that those representing you when the Oakwell doors reopen, do so in the right manner.
