Tbh I'd suck it up to allow the club to make their point.

I wouldn't be happy but how would they have won if they don't get to go?

Why are people even discussing the idea of banning all 2000? The club's know exactly who is sat in each seat, here are big gaps between fans. It's not hard to identify the exact people involved

Booing with a mask on how’s that work. Pinpointing every fan with individual cameras. ( Wouldn’t prove owt if wearing a mask.)For a few seconds. And There lies the biggest problem. Ain’t going to happen cos it’s impossible to monitor. Decent Fans calling em out is the only possible way.
One or two maybe could be pinpointed.
    A significant minority no chance.

Give there are so few fans in, it must be fairly easy to identify them? And then ban them.

Do you have data on the make up of the fan base and their ethnicity?

It's good to see people talking out about this now, though disappointing the usual suspects are clinging to their outdated ignorant views.

As for Millwall, its a sad indictment of that club that it's completely expected of them. And if fans are there at their next home game, I suspect it t be worse still.

I've only ever chatted with 2 Millwall fans. One turned out to be a handyman (never used again) who just happened to be a skin headed racist. The other, strangely enough, turned out to be a skin headed racist i was unfortunately placed next to at a wedding reception.

With no request on my part, I was treated to views of "them lot", "funny foreign muck" (relating to some food we were served) and informed about how Britain was so much better without "these foreigners"

The really sad thing was that the wedding was a marriage between an English guy and an English woman.... who was black and had flown her Ghanaian family to London specially for the day.

After the meal, the guy left (after the entire table had blanked him) thankfully, but I felt so sad and frankly embarrassed that someone had the gall to openly speak like that with 4 Ghanaians on the table.

The other side of me was a guy from Accra and I thoroughly enjoyed his company. His dignity all the more impressive considering the vile blatant racism he heard from the person to my right.

Colchester fans booed their own players for taking the knee as well, so it wasn't just Millwall. Was it just them two clubs or were more doing it?

The idea that taking the knee is a political thing seems to be replacing the term "all lives matter" as the racists' veil of choice. The reality is, a bunch of racists booed an anti-racism gesture, then retrospectively came up with some bs justification, Barnard Castle style.

Millwall and Colchester should be made to go back to playing behind closed doors. The argument that the minority spoils it for the majority wears thin, especially when a racket like that is made in a 2k crowd.

If similar were to happen at Oakwell, I'd be completely behind the idea of Ismael taking the players off and forfeiting the game. Hopefully that won't be the case.

    I'll make a suggestion.

    A serious one.

If we have to have a trial game of 1k fans before having more in. The first game with fans back in whatever capacity.

What sort of coverage and message would we send out, if every single fan (if abled bodied) also twisted to the right and every single one of us got on one knee.

    I'm sure that would

    1) upset tw@ts like millwall
    2) give Barnsley, well deserved recognition by fans being inclusive.

So, next home game, with 1k fans or 2k or whatever, do your bit too, eh?

You're all surely missing the point. They are just cheeky cockney salt of the earth chaps letting off a bit of steam..... said an FA spokesman, using the same statement they've used on 9,341 previous occasions to excuse their behaviour.
