Fair play to them, only 2k in that massive stadium but they made a hell of a lot of noise today, can’t wait to get back inside Oakwell.
One thing that struck me over the weekend - I saw lots of mentions of there being 2000 fans at each game where they were allowed back. If that's the case, how come we have to do the pilot game with only 1000? I assume it was everyone else's first game back, so were the numbers misreported, or are we subject to different rules? EFL / premier league different maybe?
I thought that too. Maybe these clubs got further with their pilots before the last lockdown came in? You'd kinda hope BFC are planning for a pilot game to take place before the first home fixture after we get the chance. I presume it can be 'up to' 1000 and doesn't have to be the first team, so a hastily arranged under 23 fixture could count?
They also applauded when players took the knee. A stance against the Millwall morons maybe. Hopefully Barnsley fans will do the same when we get back.
' I enjoyed my day at Plymouth in our promotion season. Friendly fans and they are back in league 1 now.
Dunno about that but the club is in serious bother with their 3000-odd other ST holders, because they've decided to allocate their seats to the first 1800 fans to buy their STs - for the duration of the restrictions. No ballot, no rotation, you're in - or you're out.
