    Casual Tyke, who is obviously not bothered about the result whatsoever, but would happily see democracy shat on and that racist, sexist, thin-skinned, illiterate, criminal, fraudulent bully steal another term as president simply to get one-up on everyone else on here, must be heartbroken.     I am bothered about the result because I want Trump to be re-elected but you're right, I won't be heartbroken whatever the outcome is.

    A battle lost does not necessarily mean the war is over though so I'm not throwing the towel in just yet.

    I honestly don’t think I have a closed mind. In my formative years I had a tutor who impressed upon me that it was not educational to only read the newspapers that confirm your prejudice. I have tried to follow that advice. I think we both know, however, that there is a limit to seeing both sides of an argument whilst recognising dangerous rhetoric that simply aims to manipulate. The fact that we are about to crash out of the single market sort of confirms that. For me at least.

    I am still waiting to hear his response as to why Trump would believe the Biden win results in 4 states that Texas have laughably tried to overturn in the Supreme Court were fraudulent given they were Republican controlled. Why on Earth would any Republican State legislature conspire to remove the Republican President from office? America (almost half of it - the blind followers of Trump, the MAGAs) continue to pursue a lost cause. They are a total embarrassment and laughing stock to the outside World, or would be if the divisiveness that Trump is causing was not dangerous.

    It is fair that he was popular with many middle Americans for 'breaking the mould' but surely even they can see his motives in making baseless claims of fraud and "winning big" ...CLUE... he has presented NO EVIDENCE BECAUSE NONE EXISTS (note in upper case mainly for the benefit of Casual Tyke) and the bizarre lengths he has gone to purely to line his own pockets fund raising under the false banner 'Stop the Steal'
