Up to you if course but I think its totally inappropriate. You're basically telling him to xxxx off because he's got a different view. That's all. The fact that he's bumped his comments after being quiet for a few weeks is irrelevant imo. He's just determined to have his say which is contrary to your own (and many others) and he's therefore hammered for it and abused. Just because his views aren't liked. As I say, no need for abuse whatsoever.
It's an interesting one that. Unsure what swear word he used that's 5 letters long. Most of them are 4 letters. **** Toss **** **** All the descriptive ones are 4 letters. Edit: looks like we're allowed toss.
I was watching the game so haven’t been on here - but I knew for an absolute fact that this thread would have been bumped by the OP. So predictable. He is entitled to his opinion. The problem is he’s proved palpably wrong probably 9 games out of 10. Jack Walton is a good goalkeeper now. I think he will go on to be better. He at the moment is a little impulsive in coming out, he’s made a few errors leading to goals and today is an example (though Windass did get the run on Sollbauer too). I’m not saying he didn’t make an error and that should be pointed out. But Scott has an ongoing agenda, and doesn’t just point out his errors, doesn’t just say he prefers Collins (on what evidence I’ve no clue). He repeatedly says that Walton is ‘*****’. Although to be honest at this point I think he does it fishing for attention. If he thinks we should play Brad Collins over him - we’ll that’s his opinion. But does anybody else think that: A) Brad Collins is a better overall goalkeeper? Or B) Brad Collins is incapable of making an error as well? Walton is 22 years old. Most keepers have barely made an appearance at any level by this age. If he made no errors whatsoever, but kept all his attributes and still made the saves he does, we’d not be able to hold onto him. Everyone can have a view. Mine is that he will comfortably win us more points than he costs. And he will only get better too.
Some arent happy unless they are moaning ,its as if they want the team to fail. Which i know they don't but get behind the lads .
I don't think he's abusing him for his opinion per se, more due to the fact that he's a repetitive bore.
I'm not getting into an argument about this because Id have to dissect the guy's thread to check every phrase. Last thing I'll say is that if the OP was abusive then there is absolutely no excuse. Criticize Walton by all means and if you don't think he's good enough say why (and vice versa). If someone has a distinctly contrary view to the majority however then they shouldn't be vilified for it. They should be argued and not insulted. Whether or not the thread being bumped is a pathetic tactic or not is another issue. The guy has a view and should be respected. If he himself has been abusive rather than critical he should hold his hands up and apologize. Right...that's me done. You can all **** off......
This has escalated... I stand by my words, I don’t rate him as highly as you lot and if I was Collins with the amount of mistakes has made recently I’d be pissed off I wasn’t getting a chance. I don’t get why he’s rushing out recently? Nearly cost us against Bournemouth in the 1st minute and he did the same the other night. Anyways, up the reds and **** the Wednesday.
you look a bit daft and I imagine your happy to do so surely? not the 1st and wont be the last. more than redeemed himself (again) with some top saves well played Jack lad
He needs to work on the aspects of goalkeeping that do not simply involve him saving shots on his line, or spreading himself when an opponent is through. Saving and spreading he is excellent at. Decision making when sweeping and commanding his box and taking crosses he is far less good at. Barnsley goalies. You never seem to get the full package. And if you did, they'd be on their way sharpish.
Thanks for that. How did he claw that back?!!! Got the wing wrong though - could have sworn it came from other side! Memories eh?
Walton has looked unconvincing the last couple of games. Yes he came back and pulled off a couple of good saves but that's what keepers are ment to do. Maybe he needs a little rest and give Collins a run out.
