Be a good warm up fight for him before he becomes undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in 2021.
I disagree but we will see on the night. The resume of AJ is stronger and he's just done what only one other boxer has.
Fury toppled Wlad and then Wilder. He took the belts off legitimate, long-term champions. Overseas. Huge underdog on both occasions. He dismantled Wilder. AJ beat Charles fùcking Martin ffs. Was nearly murdered by Wlad. Embarrassed by a fat man. He's fought the second tier mandatories and has a stronger resume. But only an idiot would claim his record in boxing is better than Fury's. The unbeaten, WBC (THE belt) and Lineal champion. Fury will embarrass him. Bookmark it.
Joseph Parker, Pulev, Klitschko, Ruiz, Breazeale, Whyte, Povetkin, Molina, Martin. Wilder, Klitschko, Chisora, Cunningham, Hammer. Fury’s best wins and performances are arguably better than Joshua’s. But to suggest someone is an idiot for saying AJ’s Boxing CV stretches further than Fury’s is lacking an objective look at things and makes your Tyson bias too obvious. You mock the win over Martin all the time but that was AJ becoming a World Champion in his 16th pro fight. Fury was fighting at King’s Hall Belfast in his 16th fight against an absolute nobody.
Fury hasn't lost. He's gone to Germany and dethroned a 10-year unbeaten super-champ as a 16/1 underdog. He beat Wilder (twice, in my mind) in his own backyard. The second time, he obliterated him. Despite being 'pillow fisted' according to the so-called 'experts'. That, is a better record than AJ's. Whose best win is still the life and death bout with Wlad. Who Fury schooled. In his own backyard. 18 months earlier. Idiotic, like I say. Joshua was smashed to pieces by a fat little Mexican the minute he left the UK.
Fury has the best wins. AJ has the far deeper CV. It isn’t idiotic to sit on either side of that discussion. Fury arguably went life and death with Cunningham and definitely did in the first Wilder fight - far more than AJ did against Klitschko. Also got a gift against McDermott. Just pointing out it isn’t as clear cut as you’re making out.
You're arguing. I'm giving an opinion. What's your opinion? Who wins? As for McDermott, the full fight is on youtube. It's a Fury win. Edit: Life and death with Cunningham? He got dropped and then proceeded to smash him to bits.
Who’s arguing? I’m giving the opinion that your ‘idiotic’ claim was a bit OTT. With a list of reasons why First of all I think the winner is British boxing the second they sign to fight. Secondly, I think it’s a real 50/50. AJ’s boxing ability is underrated, but Tyson is the master of the fine arts and is there to be hit - but always gets up. No landslide in that fight but I think AJ struggles to get a result over 12 rounds. Meaning can he catch Tyson clean enough? It’s an unbelievable fight.
I stand by it. Idiotic to claim AJ's got the better record. Not resume. But record. One is unbeaten, the other got dismantled by a little fat bloke the minute he went overseas. It's not even close. As for the fight if it happens (I still doubt Matchroom cook their golden goose) Fury annihilates him. That's all she wrote. Off to bed. What a day. Up the Reds. Love you Benj.
Of course you stand by it. You’re not one to back down mate which is why I love debating with you. Cracking day x P.S. I’m not a moron
It's crackers that AJ has all but one belt but will be seen as a underdog because he lost a fight to a Mexican who looks like Alex Mowatt at short notice. Everyone loses in their career. Fury is a two time champion without ever defending his title. He even turned down a pre Christmas fight. AJ has been chucked in the ring throughout his career with guys that he shouldn't yet be facing on so few fights.
