    There's no official title that he keeps, referring to them as Mr President after office is purely informal. It will depend on the person as to whether they continue to call him it

    I know it's not official, just a common courtesy afforded to previous presidents, and one I don't think he's earned after four years of schitting all over the US Constitution. Plus it's another deserved snub that might just cause him to spontaneously combust

    In my opinion it shouldn’t be afforded to anyone that gets voted out after a single term - clearly they’re rejected by the people - merely for those that served their terms.

    By ‘more’ I assume you mean ‘some’ - given that there’s not really been any twists or turns yet, just Trump trying to subvert democracy like the toad he is.

    Taking the election/Trump completely out of the equation for a second, that article is exactly what is wrong with the media both in the US and over here. It’s how the tabloids laid out articles about Corbyn to fit a narrative to those who don’t take all the information in.

    The article leads with racism but doesn’t mention racism again until way down the page, and then it’s just one quote from the opposing attorney with no more information - considering it’s the sub headline. It also mentions that Trump has taken the Presidential Helicopter for a New York engagement. That engagement was for the coin toss in the Army vs. Navy annual football game, shown live on TV, and attended by thousands of passionate troops from both teams. I watched it before the AJ fight and it was great - making me wonder why we’ve never had a football equivalent over here (I know we have rugby but that’s lost it’s profile in recent years).

    Don't judge an article by the headline. I'm not saying the article is any good, I haven't read it, but the journalist who wrote it didn't write the headline. The two people have entirely different roles and different goals and good articles often have inappropriate headlines that don't do the story justice.

    According to Times Radio's Josh Glancy, the rally in Washington yesterday was attended by a crowd only about a quarter of the previous one. It seems reality is beginning to bite.

    As regards the circus this week, I wonder if Trump will dare sack Bill Barr? Now that one would be interesting!

    Just to get this right, because we believe in counting votes in a democratic election and that the candidate with the most votes is the winner, and that the loser, claiming without proof or justification, that there was voter fraud still remains the loser, leads you to conclude we'd be delighted by the infiltration of communism? That's what this post is? It certainly seems like it. Perhaps some self examination is required.

    I don’t think Trump will sack Bill Barr because he still has a major part to play. I would think Trump’s criticism of Barr is purely for optics so that Barr’s next move is not seen as being partisan.

    As it goes, I didn’t particularly have you in mind Jay. If the prospect of communist infiltration doesn’t fill you with joy then you can safely assume my post wasn’t directed at you.

    The OTT left wing sentiment on this thread goes back long before there were any allegations of fraud and the proof or justification and proof of fraud is certainly there if you aren’t blinded to it by political myopia.
