Well I certainly don't hate the bloke, he always comes across as very personable ( bit incomprehensible - bomb alley and all that) but I do think he is a legend in his own mind manager wise.
It can't be a coincidence that even after being given the money Brizzle gave him, ultimately his time there pretty much mirrored our experience with him, their fans comments in the last few weeks could pretty much have been cut and pasted from ours on here.

 

brcause despite having a fantastic team he got them playing the worst football I have ever seen us play. A rare achievement he turned a silk purse into a sows ear.

 

So they've won their first league game with him in charge. If you're a gambler, get on them to win the next 4 or 5. Then lose the 5-10 games after that.

The 9 defeats were shocking and he should have been sacked only the fact he had a 3 year contract that kept him from been sacked the performances were poor but not the worst I've ever seen from.a Barnsley side. He then turned it round and won 7 on spin before leaving.

mice little interest in Wilson. In his defence he had to set up a team with 5 pro players 4 weeks before the start of the season but the standard of football under him was very poor. Though watching Johnson’s centre backs playing it 253464 times a game before holding it took boredom to new levels.

 

Patrick must have respected him because he had him along as his guest of honour
when we beat Oxford United in the Johnstone Paint Final at Wembley explaining
that LJ had played a big part in getting us there in the first place and that ought to be
recognised.
