Took my eldest when he was about 10. All his mates were Man City Liverpool etc. Assumed he'd just pick a Prem team as well & thought if I have to go and watch games with him it might as well be to watch someone who plays decent football (Wenger days). You're right about the seats, like being in 1st class on a plane. Better than what we have in the living room. That said, found the whole experience very sterile. Seemed to be more like a tourist attraction than a football match. Shouldn't have worried though, to my utter amazement (& joy) he dropped them for my beloved reds after just 2 reds games with me. Bigger fan than me now . (Actually 3 games if you count the 2000 play off when I made his football hating mum bring him to Wembley as a foetus. Thought it was a 'once in a lifetime event' at the time ... well it was back then!!).
That is one seriously messed up kid, all the problems the world is facing and he's miffed because the team he supports is having a bit of a downturn in fortune, he, of course would argue he's a passionate supporter, in reality he's an absolute gawpshite.
