Trump has made over $200 million from this little charade. Still a fraction of what he owes.

Yet people still think he's a billionaire?

My favourite episode is the bloke who suddenly realised it was a con after donating over a million who is now suing the campaign for his money back.

But only as bad as BoJo; at the heart of this is millions of people putting their faith in someone they know is a pathological liar. In the vain hope he won’t con them because he says things they want to hear.

I think the time for evidence and courts has passed now so I expect that Trump will set in motion the Executive Order relating to foreign interference in a US election and get the military involved. It could be an eventful week.

I will take a break now and leave you to chat amongst yourselves until the upcoming shitstorm blows over and the dust settles. In the meantime my partner of 15 years and mother of my two young children has been admitted into intensive care with left ventricle heart failure and Covid19 so, as I’m sure you can appreciate, I have more pressing matters to deal with.

Well, that should be it now.

The electoral college have voted and any challenge to those votes has to be approved by both the senate and the house. As the democrats control the house, there’s no chance.

    Now officially President-Elect Biden.

I see a few options that could have led to this.

Trump is planning on doing something so heinous that even Bill Barr couldn’t stomach it. Shudder.

Barr failed in his attempts to overturn the election, so Trump has fired him as punishment.

Trump wants a scapegoat so Barr is gone so he can get the blame for being a lefty democrat shill (lol) and not counting votes properly or some ****.

    Trump was bored.

Trump wanted to take the headlines away from Biden being officially elected president-elect.

There again BR, with the Electoral College's work done, and Barr unwilling to find invented evidence of fraud it could just be that he knows he is out of a job after inauguration day and he'd sooner go now and have a peaceful Christmas away from the Trump circus!

For someone who likes to be ‘the best’, you have to hand it to Donald, no one has ever lost an election so many times. He’s lost Bigly.

Certainly has. With Barr gone I wouldn't be surprised to see a raft of dodgy pardons and sadly, a further spate of federal executions between now and 20 January.

There were rumours yesterday that he was going to pardon Julian Assange. Interesting if true...

Perhaps he didn't want to be associated with the biggest federal killing spree in US Presidential history.

Maybe. Think it's a bit late for that though. This is a guy (Barr) that believes the president has absolute power over the country and is on record as saying he thinks the president should be above the law.

Even Mitch McConnell has congratulated Joe now, yet President Lame-duck is still tweeting. What he is doing would amount to something treasonous in any sane world. But at least his options are spent.

The Trump cultists have now turned on McConnell and have vowed to destroy the GOP for not backing Trump to the hilt.

Quote from Lindsay Graham in early 2016: “if we elect Donald Trump, it will destroy the Republican Party. And we will deserve it”

Anyone come across any twists or turns yet? I thought Lord Dampnut was sending the troops in?

Republicans seem to be pinning their hopes on Pence refusing to count states and no candidate reaching 270.

That’s not how it works though, both the house and senate have to agree and if they don’t, Nancy Pelosi becomes acting president on the 20th. And Mike Pence is unable to challenge anything himself, his job is just to formally open and close the session.
