    Can't we just enjoy being average for a second?

    We're barely a third of the way through the season and any talk of promotion is just pure daft. Have you seen our fixture list for January?

    Having said that, if we're still in the same position in March then we can all start wetting our panties (assuming you wear them).

    It's all about retaining the squad offloading the unwanted and bringing in quality to add to the front three and at the back. Depending on what happens to James whether we need to replace a ball winning holding midfielder.

    Id be delighted with finishing 12th to 15th, 3 years away from top 6.

    Key to watch the next 3 transfer windows and if the quality of our signings go up a level from Kane, Helic, Brittain. I am happy with all three though for now.

    Keeping Styles, Sollbaure, Brittain, Anderson, Mowatt, Kane, Woodrow is also a good guide.

    One thing's for sure though. We suddenly look a much better proposition for any player considering whether or not to join us in January.
