All on here have different views on this, but I'm sure we can all agree that the handling of this as been shambolic and dangerous. How many folk will break the rules who until now have followed everything to the book? I'm expecting 75% of the public will break the rules. This could have been put in place 7-10 days ago, now the entire country will be raging.
Or SAGE, with their disgraceful conflicts of opinion, big pharmaceutical interests and Susan fücking Michie.
The problem is, all confidence has now gone and were left with the realisation that we’re listening to a man who is at best, a journalist, and at worst a failed journalist!
News anchor continuing the narrative that restrictions haven't been harsh enough. Making sure the point is rammed home.

There are 3,050 people who no longer have a voice in this, they died last week because they contracted Covid-19. There are 12,429 who might wish there was a better observed lockdown, as they are so seriously ill they have been admitted to hospital in the last week and for many it is a one way trip Also with 172,263 people catching the disease, and the R number at 1.2 and rising, the virus mutating, the infection rate can only rise, and along with it the hospital admissions and subsequent deaths. But apparently I am in favour of a lockdown because I have a garden and a house with some space.
We'll be seeing our family, but we have been doing since June anyway. Anyone who is so vulnerable that it could be their last if they see anyone should I agree stay home and protect themselves if they feel the need to do so.
Some right dummies in this thread it seems. If you are so desperate for the boozer to open you need serious help.
Mmm...tends to suggest that the bilge on this board about governmental southern bias was somewhat premature.
