I was going to say, surely they won’t get gifted goals again like Watford gave them, but they’re playing us and we’re in a vey benevolent mood recently.

Good one. I like this one as well, the first home game of the promotion season :):)

It's the Huddersfield goal that should never have stood - thrown straight in from the touchline lol :)

Add another Huddersfield resident reds fan. I'm in Cumberworth. I'd say in Denby Dale, Scisset and Clayton West, it's 50/50 Huddersfield and Barnsley once you strip out the plastics (Man U, Chelsea etc armchair fans and a smattering of Leeds and the (very) odd wendy. My son got an Hudds football shirt for his 8th Birthday from the club. Soon converted him though. We do watch Hudds Giants occasionally but that's allowed

We moved from Wombwell to Netherthong/ Holmfirth and I work with lots of town fans; my daughter seems to be the sole reds fan at Holmfirth High. Some do seem to think we are little old Barnsley compared to the massive Huddersfield Town but she and I put them right!

Good on ya mate, looks like I'm going to have a similar job as the boys grow up over here!
It will be Meltham junior school and Honley High for our two! My eldest has randomly asked for a Tottenham kit for Christmas! Don't know where the heck that's come from!

I’ve never really seen Huddersfield as a big rival, I actually quite like them as a club. Never really experienced much arrogance from their fans either. Recent history suggests both clubs are quite similar with spells in League One etc. however, they have a richer history than we do and spent plenty of seasons in a higher league. I spend quite a bit of time in Huddersfield and, although some of the surrounding villages are really nice (Holmfirth especially), the town centre isn’t great.

It’s important to get wins at home in this league so I’m hoping for a good game and another 3 points. Would be good not to concede in the first 5 mins too!

I work mainly in Huddersfield schools, so beating them is always a good feeling. Losing 5-0 a few years ago was a low point......

Wouldn't say I disliked them anywhere near as much as Wednesday though, they aren't as deluded.
