    Nothing is ever black and white. And that's my point everytime. But that kind of debate is dead in today's world if you fall on the wrong side of the popular opinion. So people stay quiet, get on with things, and then we're all shocked when the middle ground votes and claim 'we don't understand it' - but we don't understand it because we're more closed to intelligent, mature discussion than ever before in my lifetime.

    Operation warp speed. Otherwise known as the biggest load of self-aggrandising ******** in recent memory.

    He’s done **** all to get this vaccine out, other than attempting to remove safety protocols and force it out without proper testing, which thankfully the FDA didn’t do. Then he has the gall to take credit for it.

    Really insightful response but hardly surprising. Their death toll by population isn't the worst in the world. It's behind the UK, Italy and Spain for starters, without accounting for the lack of validity in the numbers and China basically outright lying on their death toll.

    That's including one state that represents over 10% of Covid deaths, massively due to the governor flooding the care homes.

    without an in depth knowledge I’d argue work rate and attendance at rallies are 2 distinct entities, and if the American military mirrors our own I’d hazard a guess it’s very right wing conservative. Literally preaching to the converted.

    mines a pint anyway mate whenever and wherever football happens again!

    Mate I'm always happy buying your pint - guaranteed to be the cheapest and least fussy of the round!

    I wouldn't want to compare their military with ours, although I'm sure there's some crossover, but from army members I've spoken to they see him as the first President to say he'll bring them home and actually do it. Nobody looks down at the military over there, where as here we don't really put you guys on the pedestal you deserve (in my opinion).

    While charging the US taxpayer for secret service accommodation while he plays at his own clubs. It’s fine though cos he donates his salary. What a hard working philanthropist.

    Just came across another interesting piece of information that illustrates a possible path to Trump’s re-election.

    On January 6, EVERY elector needs to be contested individually. This then requires a TWO HOUR DEBATE PER ELECTOR. Dozens of electors may force it into overtime, forcing a legislative vote in the house with each state getting one vote along party lines.

    As the Republicans control the majority of the States I would anticipate a House vote going in Trump’s favour.

    That’s not how it works. If there’s a deadlock when contesting electors that isn’t resolved by the 20th, Nancy Pelosi is sworn in as acting president until the dispute is resolved.
