    As you'd expect Forest Green Rovers love him and think he's a great player. I'm going to dig a little more on this tomorrow as I've got a commercial meeting with them.

    He's playing for the meanest defence in League Two right now as well I think.

    A centre back that can play left back would be ideal for this system, even if it is only as back up / competition for Styles or Andersen.

    Would give the option of switching to a back 4 if we ever wanted to as well

    I don't think he can. I think we've been more prone to the dark arts and streetwise since he took over. You have to expect referee's to hone in on this.

    Our bid was £500k apparently. Able to play left back or as a central defender.
    People in the know saying he's a good prospect. If he turns out like Styles most

    I know his dad well. He says that Millwall have also put an offer in for him. No decision yet.

    I've heard he was tapped up. His agent has pulled the plug on the deal. He'd only sign if we provided a new work top for training. They'll make a decision spoon. Or tell us to just fork off. It'd be knife if he signed though. If he rejects we'll just have to let it sink in.

    If he signs for us then it means he can move back near his family in Harrogate and commute and being a lifelong Leeds fan he may be put off Millwall but I suppose at the end of the day money talks.

    I said in an earlier post that I’d seen a lot of him at Harrogate Town and didn’t think he could make the step up but by all accounts he’s doing really well at FGR so hopefully he’ll prove me wrong.

    I also found out last night that a kid who comes from Harrogate to watch the reds with me is one of his mates so he’s going to try to find out a bit more info...
