    They aren't a Barnsley player until they're stood in front of East Stand with Dame Edna holding up a Barnsley scarf saying, "Once I heard Barnsley were after me there was no place I'd rather play my football".

    His last appearance was his first clean sheet in seven after a run of six games where both teams scored (Forest Green a BTTS banker on coupons). 7 yellow cards in just 17 games this season shows he needs to work on his discipline. He is 66 games without a goal which whilst isn't too important it would be good to be going after a CB who chips in with goals.

    Just got off a Zoom call with Forest Green. They're sworn to secrecy but made a few jokes about Liam playing for Barnsley against them in the Championship when they get back to back promotions.

    Interestingly though they were baffled by the Millwall rumour. They said there was another bid but they were certain it wasn't 'Wall.

    Just been looking on the fgr forum and they reckon he,s a good player but they have another cb called Udoka godwin- malife who in their opinion is worth double, hailing him as potentially better than pinnock...

    I am not being smart Redhelen but I didn"t think Forest Green were a London club , minds you I could well be wrong because I havn"t got a clue where Forest Green is

    He was on Loan at Harrogate Town in 2018 and 2019 in their rise from the National leagues from Leeds before signing for FGR. He played as a full back mostly as opposed to centre half as Town played Warren Burrell and a centre half on loan from Leyton Orient (forget his name) in those positions. I always felt he looked out of place at full back because of his stature and that's maybe why he's improved so much at FGR playing in his preferred position.

    I wonder if he’s filled out since his Harrogate days hence why he’s playing at centre half certainly seems to like a yellow card.

    Forest Green is the name of the club,based in Nailsworth,Gloucestershire. Nailsworth is about the size of Silkstone. It is a lovely place, we had our honeymoon there in 1986.

    I meant another London club were maybe after him hence the confusion with Millwall, but in general I've no sense of direction!!
