    alternater belts gone on the car, got a new one ( £20 ) but cant get it fitted until after xmas . cooper s , the front wheel and inner wheel arches got to come off so its not a side of the road in rain kinda fix.................. ahhh well such is life

    Haven't a clue about what any of that means but it sounds a pain to fix, but hopefully not too costly?

    Taking the wheel and arch off is the easy part. Removing a wheel is no bother and you only need a screwdriver to take the wheel arch off. I wouldn’t let that bit put you off.

    thats not the problem its the rain and crappy weather at the side of the road, i've done my time mending buses, lorries, and cars roadside over the years ( 64 with a knackered lower back), up on etra's 30 mins if that
