    But again, where did I offer anything that could be disagreed with? You’ve well and truly lost me on this one.

    Disagreeing is fine. It’s healthy. And it nearly always ends up being enlightening. The bashing doesn’t come through disagreeing, it comes from trying to create a ‘me vs. you’ on something where that just didn’t exist.

    Meanwhile, it looks as though Trump's last 27 days in office are going to be increasingly bizarre. He seems to be arguing for more individual Covid relief payments while refusing to sign off what has been agreed - even by Mitch McConnell! Is it spite for McConnell's congratulatory message to Joe Biden? Who knows? But at the moment Trump is shafting ordinary Americans while threatening a government shutdown. He won't pass the Defence Act because of the naming of military bases. And he's gone to his Mr-Y-Lago funny farm while claiming to be "working tirelessly" for the American people. All the while, what must be annoying Trump more than anything is that Joe is largely ignoring him! The next 27 days are going to be entertaining (unless you're an ordinary American citizen)!

    He's also refusing to sign off on the Defence Act because he wants Section 230 repealed as part of it. Section 230 is the rule that provides websites with immunity from third-party content. Aka, so twitter cannot be sued for what somebody posts on there. Ironically Section 230 is the only thing that is stopping him and his cronies being removed from twitter altogether. If that is repealed it would destroy the internet as we know it. No content could be posted anywhere without approval by the website, as they would be directly responsible for it.

    The senate has a Veto-Proof majority though on the Defence Act, so I expect they will just vote to override Trump's Veto which will probably succeed.

    So taking time off from his golfing the President urges his supporters (Proud Boys, KKK, White supremacists etc.) to turn up in Washington on January 6 as the Congress meets
    to confirm Joe Biden as President. "It will be a wild one" he says. Meanwhile the bombing outside the CNN office in Nashville goes by unremarked from Trump. One wonders why.

    Covid continues to sweep the States as Trump golfs and the Vice President (head of the Covid task force) skis.

    One of his chief sycophants Marco Rubio tells people there is no need to have the vaccine. This shortly after he was first in the queue to get it. What a shower this lot are.
