Still steering clear of the personal insults. I suppose the silver lining is we’ll never hear from you again after the inauguration
That’s not a personal insult Donny.... just a cultural observation. If the cap doesn’t fit, feel free not to wear it. I’ll certainly be back after the Inauguration. You don’t expect me to pass up the chance to say ‘I told you so’, do you? After that I expect that it will be less US Politics and more football-related though.
Don't waste your time on them Mr Casual Tyke. They don't understand Just keep listening to the voices. The voices in your head. The man last night. He didn’t understand did he? Did you bury the hammer?
But I do have strong left wing views (they’re not a choice I was born empathetic) the insult is that you accuse us all of believing the world owes us a living. How you describe that as an ‘observation’ is merely a misunderstanding of the English words you used. Plenty of champagne socialists out there - nowadays less common than the craft beer socialists though
Presidential veto on the Defence Bill overturned in the House of Representatives yesterday. Trump has also gotten himself into a lose-lose situation on the Covid Relief Bill. The mantle is slowly slipping away!
It’s beyond parody; Trump finds himself having to go to Georgia for a HUGE rally in support of the Republican Senators for their re-election, meanwhile his 2 nutcase lawyers are actively calling for those same senators to be arrested and thrown in jail for their part in the crooked election. Pure comic genius. question for @casual tyke : Is Trump right to support these senators, to keep control of the house so he can use them to overturn Biden’s election? Or are his ‘lawyers’ doing the right thing calling for their arrest and telling Republicans not to take part in what will surely be a crooked election?
Does anyone think with the American Justice system being what it is Trump will actually get the prison time he undoubtedly deserves? I read an article about Atlantic City where he basically exploited the population, made a load of money, cleared out and left them high and dry. To add insult to injury he then bragged about the state the place had ended up in after he left!!
"gotten" ? ..."GOTTEN"?? Desist from such Americanisms...only the 'Queens English' spoken here (tha noes)!! Go rinse your mouth out with soap and water immediately!!
Can't argue Tekky: North American past participle of get, my research tells me. But what about ill-gotten gains? Probably also relevant to Trump!
Good news on the search for voter fraud. The Lt Governor of Texas (Republican) offered 1 million dollars reward for any proven cases of voter fraud. His Democratic counterpart in Pennsylvania has three such cases in his state - all Trump voters - and he is claiming the reward. He feels he should get it times 3.
Saw that a few weeks ago. Hilarious. Look up the Lt. Gov of PA - I certainly wouldn’t want him knocking on my door looking for his money!
