My god man, is there any 'light' in your life? It's just seemingly endless negativity. They own/run the clubs, of course they can attend the games.
Watched Rotherham v Wednesday the other week with a Wednesday fan who was getting wound up by all the come on Rovrum shouts. Found it quite amusing at the time.
Call me old fashioned but I believe that if it's so dangerous inside stadiums that no fans are allowed in them, essential employees (such as you) have to follow strict strict rules on where you can be and numbers of essential employees are strictly limited then I think it's absolutely taking the piss that the rich men are allowed to go to watch games just for the hell of it. If that makes me negative then so be it. Personally I don't think that's as negative as those who believe the games shouldn't go ahead at all or that everyone should be no their homes unless leaving for food and medicine but that's just me.
They're not just watching for the hell of it though, they own the club. Presumably they need to watch the game to see when to sack the manager!
Work from home when you can right? I watched the game from my living room. Tony Stewart presumably could only do so whilst standing screaming abuse from the stand
He'll have a much better view from the ground though. And maybe his team couldn't perform as well without his "encouragement ". As the owner the buck stops with him so I can see why he'd be there, though obviously should be social distancing and following COVID protocol.
My opinion of Stewart's behaviour is pretty low, but his right to be there isn't up for debate. He owns the club, oversees the operation. They don't have a CEO. He runs the show. Therefore he should be there. It's just a non-argument pal.
My argument/point was purely on the safety/not safety of the rules if that makes sense and disgrace was a cover the top word to use (you should know me by name) but I do think it's a bit hypocritical/pointless of them to allow it when the whole mantra is work from home wherever possible. To be honest it doesn't exactly but me anywhere near as much as my post made it look like it does.
What a c.ock end he is. Shameful. Someone should play him the audio, maybe he’ll realise what a dick he sounds.
Well whilst be are being pedantic it’s government guidance not a law as such and in any case you don’t really have a point. You could argue the Manager could work from home after all he can watch the game on iFollow etc and relay substitutions to the physio and do the half time talk via zoom. Of course that’s a dumb argument because he can’t do his job as effectively if he isn’t there. Surely if you then accept that it’s hard to argue the owner and effective CEO can’t do his job effectively if he isn’t there either. He should be fined for not wearing a mask though and was it fancy dress has he gone as the singer for the post match drinks in the exec
