Looks as though he is trying to build a football empire like manchester city's city football group What would the one we are part of be called?
The Fake Sheiks stopped paying for BFC almost 2 years ago well before Covid-19 and any lease issue. The initial agreement was to buy the ground within 6 months (they had first refusal) if that was there main reasons/concern when they agreed to buy the club why didn't they buy it within that first 6 months they were well aware Oakwell was leased from the council when they bought the club. They were only concerned and put in writing that they allegedly wanted to buy the ground one week after they found out that another party had put in writing that they wanted to buy the ground what a strange and odd coincidence. The reason and only reason they stopped making payments to the club is quite clear from The Crynes statement they put out. Is that they wanted to make payments to buy the club using the clubs money ala OCG Nice And that was blocked by the Crynes. indecently your pal Chien cant even be bothered to make "tweet when your winning" tweets now. guess he's lost interest and is too busy trying to sell the club to whoever puts a big enough suitcase of cash on the table now there in a golden position sales wise to sell the club
Because what the Cryne’s put out is definitely the 100% truth, and the only possible version of events... I said at the time, the club and us as fans owe a lot to the family, but they are not above being questioned as to whether all their actions are solely to benefit Barnsley FC. They are entitled to look after themselves, I’m not criticising, but it is clear they are looking to further feather their nests, when quite a lot of the money Patrick had put into the club was repaid to him/them on the sale of the club. The fact that nothing has been said by anybody for quite a long time, even withstanding the Covid situation and delayed legal proceedings generally, would suggest to me it is a lot, lot more complex than the Cryne’s are owed money and the nasty investors haven’t paid. The ownership models are such that the Cryne’s are suing the company that owns the club, but own 20% of that company themselves, effectively meaning that are in part suing themselves. And there are multiple other companies; ones holding the ground, plus at least one James has for resource identification services (the ‘spreadsheet’) for which it appears (to me, might be wrong) he invoices and receives payment for separately to any salary he does or doesn’t get from the club. Again, there’s nothing wrong with that. But none of the other owners are apparently taking any money out of the club, at least not since Conway stopped being the acting CEO, for which he was fairly salaried. I don’t think any of us are privy to know the whole thing, so whilst we can form opinions, it’s quite unfair to conclude and make such statements. I’m no big fan of the ‘consortium’, I can’t really see what their end game is to be honest; and we as fans should all be very grateful to Patrick Cryne and his surviving family members for what they (he) did for many years - but that doesn’t mean we should put 100% blame on one side over the other here based on nothing other than supposition, assumption and who you like best. All we can hope is that they resolve it amicably or at the very least resolve it so that the day to day function of the club isn’t adversely affected.
My point was more that it was his opinion that they will sort oakwell and the futures bright with chein and Co rather than fact. Time will tell
