Also lots of people revert to their local accent when they get back home. I’ve lost my Yorkshire accent but it starts to come back if I spend some time back in Wombwellnot a fan of Big Sam but not going to criticise him for that one. It’s not like when McClaren picked up a Dutch accent

I never knew you were from Wombwell. I agree with you on accents though. According to my family I have never lost my accent, even after almost 50 years away but it is always better when I am visiting my family. Not that I have since the virus struck.
