He probably had better more lucrative options before

I honestly think he could still do a job in the Championship. However, I don't think he's the type of striker we need. I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up at Middlesbrough with Warnock.

We're an injury to Woodrow away from being up **** creek without a paddle, so I'd definitely have him if it is a possibility.
He could just give us that extra bit of quality and know how to keep us near the top end.

Whilst I agree he would be good to have, if we're limited in terms of budget, he might be an expensive player to have 'just in case'. We desperately need someone who can hold the ball up. I think that type of striker would see us get more out of Woodrow, Chaplin and Frieser. Sharp is similar to Woodrow, in the sense that he likes to play off the shoulder of the last defender. Barring the Rotherham game, we've rarely suited that type of striker this season. I do agree though, he'd be a great signing and add that bit of depth.

I reckon the dee dars will pay his wages and Wilders trying to help us get promoted so that he doesn't have to play us next season :D

In that case would it be worth a cheeky bid for Oli McBurnie?

I honestly think he's the type of player that would fit in well with us, he's strong, a decent runner and we know he can finish. Unfortunately, players like him are well out of our price bracket.
