And that will be the FA Cup done for the year. Crikey, we're highly unlikely to go up or down. If this isn't the year to have a proper go at the Cup then we might as well pack up.
I’m more interested in continuing our progress we have made in the league. I still think that team should beat tranmere and giving some players a well earned rest.
I want us to put out a team that wins the £61,500 prize money on offer. We shouldn't be knocking back a much needed revenue stream.
Rest as many players as we can. We've done well with injuries so far but this schedules going to take its toll in the second half of the season.
Collins Halme Helik Moon Oduor Kane Palmer Williams Adeboyejo Thomas Freiser Hopefully a couple of the under 23’s will get a run out off the bench if we are lucky enough to be in a comfortable position
Point being, in an early round of that competition you’d expect - against lower league opponents - a few changes to give people minutes/a rest. This is the FA Cup. I would be amazed if we fielded a completely random XI.

It's not like we haven't proved in recent memory that it's possible to have one either. We wrote a glowing chapter in our history with that run to the semi final. People still talk about the wins over Liverpool and Chelsea. To throw the chance of repeating that just to save the players for a run of the mill league game goes against everything sport means in my eyes. It's the most famous cup competition in football. For god's sake we should be giving it a go.
Unfortunately it's something we won't be able to experience it first hand. At least if we win at Anfield at least I can cheer this time - I was sat in the home end last time
Really need to be at our best for this tie as I’m sure Mr Hill will have the opposition as pumped up as possible. Don’t fancy listening to his crowing if we come away with a loss on Sunday.
