    Another wage off the bill.
Been around long enough to have had a chance, so won't be missed IMHO.
I wish him well, looked a good player on his first start but never kicked on.

Yes sad. I thought he had something about him when i first saw him. However, the many Coaches we've had since then - didn't.

Shame for the lad really. He looked lively the first few games he had under Stendel in L1.

Hope he finds another club soon

If he's gone empty handed then yes but do you really think he will have gone without being paid up? The benefit I see is it freeing up our first team squad numbers.

Probably somewhere in between. Pay him a mutually agreed sum, making him a free agent and ultimately easier to negotiate with another club.

Usually, when a player agrees to mutually end the contract they walk away without a payoff. No way to say this is the case here but I assume it would be. I reckon he probably has a move lined up and doing that means the new team won't have to pay a fee which will make it easier.

Probably somewhere in between is what I`ve always thought.

Usually depends on who as asked to be released from the contract. Then there is usually a compromise to be had.

A club is contractually obligated to pay the full value of the contract (even on sale of the player) unless the player allows a clause (why would they?) or there is an agreement. I can't imagine he'd be on much so with a short period left, I'd expect it to be paid off, unless he has a club lined up and they've agreed on a lesser amount. If he hasn't got another club lined up, it doesn't make sense for him to agree to be kicked out without the full amount of compensation.

If any player is contracted for a fixed period then, unless they are spectacularly badly advised, they will negotiate a termination payment. Probably an extreme example but Sunderland were very keen to agree a deal with Jack Rodwell, however the value of the contract remaining meant, unless they were willing to settle for close to the value of the unpaid amount, there was no deal to be had.

Hope so. We need to clear these players out.

There are some, like Simoes that would benefit from a loan move to get game time.

Best of luck to him. He's a winger, and we haven't had a manager who has played with natural wingers since, probably Hecky. Was a strange signing at the time to be honest. Had a good couple of games in our promotion season.

Long term injured I believe, so I can't see him moving this window either.
