If they still require an ambulance and paramedics at every game then yes 100%, these would be better suited elsewhere. I would imagine that the ambulance isn’t needed though with no crowds.
Probably not; regularly tested, isolated in bubbles, really responsible young professionals, what could possibly go wrong?
Don’t think government will suspend elite sport, but results of regular testing that the efl have just brought in might force the issue
Here’s a thing. We all know that the ambulance and crew at the ground aren’t NHS staff (usually St Johns but could be others). On the rare occasions I’ve known there to be a serious injury, an actual NHS ambulance has turned up. So what are the ‘first aiders’ there for exactly?
I’ve only ever seen the clubs medical staff and the NHS tend to anyone, that’s my question. I believe we legally need them there, but don’t choose to use them.
Any player found in breach of the rules should get a 3 month fine & suspension. Man City putting a player on the bench that did just that takes the ****. Man City & their manager are scum.
When it comes to spectators it's largely the at Johns people who give first aid and its st John's who help the club's medical staff I believe. The actual NHS help is very little I think but I could be wrong.
Pretty sure they were pretty vital when Stephen Croft collapsed - probably helped to save his life that day! Actually there's no probably about that
