    Word is , No contact by us to either player , Agent or leicester the contract he was on apparently we only paid leicester when we won or drew , Barnsley paid nothing when we lost .

    Surely we've tried to keep him? Madness if not.

    This is a big blow to our progress this year. The guy is a cut above.

    He is a class player but if we have no chance of getting him full time it might be for the best long term sending him back. They must also be confident of getting Mowatt to stay if this is the case as there is no way we can afford to lose both.

    Possibly the biggest loss we’ve had since Hourihane leaving, he’s vital to what we do. Hopefully we’ve got something lined up as we don’t have another player who does the job he can.

    Really like Matty James but it could be as simple as Big Val not rating him as highly as we do for the money he would take from the budget. I'm led to believe our contribution to extend would have had to increase vs. the initial agreement.

    Remember when he dropped him for a couple of games and the rumour mill was suggesting that was a sign he was on the way out? You can never have enough talented footballers in your squad though so I hope we see some movement in and not a return to just signing kids with no experience.

    Huge opportunity for Palmer, but also for Styles to come central if we get a new LWB.

    I missed the Norwich game, but that's just one sub appearance. He's impressed me everytime I've seen him play for us.
