Curious to know where you got that info from , it seems a strange arrangement given that some matches he wasn"t picked & under that arrangement would Leicester expect paying ?

I didnt think he looked bad when he came on at the weekend at all but thats my opinion. He came on at a tricky time when they were well on top and I thought he put in a few good tackles etc. He has always done well in other games too off the bench. Granted not on the same level as James currently but could get there.

Hope we don’t do a Hull this season. I get the feeling the next few games are going to knock the wind out of our sails and then we’ll struggle to get the confidence back. At least none of our local rivals can do the double over us!

Just losing James isn't going to have that much of an effect. Hull sold their best goalscorer and their other good winger. We are losing a cracking player for sure but Kane and Palmer can slot in without too much issue. They have done in past when James needed a rest. We will struggle to maintain the form seen in the last month or so but I would be astounded if we did a Hull.

Nothing astounds me with Barnsley FC!

It’s no coincidence that our form improved after Matty came in.

You mean he was on the bench , Yes appears strange but an arrangement that worked for both parties

He has been a part of that for sure but I would say the tweak in the system, as well as the form of others, have contributed as well. We have won games this season in which he hasn't started and also won games after he has been subbed off. It's a loss for sure and ideally, I would have liked to see him stay but it's not as major as some are making out IMO.

Kane seems a little on the slow side to me

Mad how much of a statement it is just sending one player back from a loan but it seems as though it shows what our ambitions are

Great player and great professional. But with revenue streams decimated maybe we thought he cost too much to keep around when he's unable to do 90 minutes and plays in a part of the pitch we have plenty of cover for.

Great player for us so far this season, never really lasts the full 90 but good to have starting and round the other squad members. Would have been great to keep till end of season but I never really expected it to happen.

Scowen, Watkins, Barnes, Yiadom, Roberts, Pinnock, Moore? All just as big a loss, some even bigger.

Can’t afford to let Mowatt go as well now

I know the finances are probably a world apart, but didn’t we sign Anderson de Silva at the end of the January transfer window, after previously thinking we’d seen the last of him during his loan spell?

Is there only me thinks Kane played OK v Norwich? He looks a more than adequate long term investment.

Yes, I'm gutted about losing James, but we are not without other talent.

I can't see it though we need to be very careful. Their fall from grace was spectacular, but they did ship out Bowen for 22million and Grosicki to West Brom. Incomings? Malik Wilks and one Herbie Kane...

I think if we sign a left back and play Styles in the middle no harm done.

I know very little about football, and my prediction on most things is usually completely wrong. But so far I’m seeing very little from Herbie Kane, apart from the occasional long throw. Certainly no replacement for what Matty James gave us. Ah well.

Yeah I thought he was Norwich best player. He had a great game for them. Never failed to find any of their players with a pass
