    Absolutely insane.

    Yet again the club goes for the short sighted false economy. 20k a week for rest of season could’ve been seen as investment into Kane and Palmer’s development.

    50 points won’t be so easy to reach if we have Kane / Palmer as first choice and Christie-Davies off the bench

    Seems odd to me, given Dane's statement saying how much of an impact he's had. Can only think (hope) we have somebody lined up to come in, whether it be another midfielder, or a left-back to push Styles back into the middle. Emphasis on hope.

    Pretty gutted about this, James was class for us.

    I’m also shocked at him going to Coventry, I thought he’d be higher up the table than them.

    Difficult to see the logic here though in light of CV19 and reduced incomes it may be about reducing our financial risk.

    I wouldn't be surprised if we are worried about next season so can't risk keeping a big earner around on loan. If we can't have unrestricted access for the start of next season then our season pass sales are going to dwindle away as a lot of people won't pay for another season of iFollow or being able to go to the odd game if you are willing to abide by whatever restrictions are in place at the time.

    Centre mid isn't a massive problem, albeit if we also lose Mowatt it might be. It's where Styles needs to play, he's wasted at lwb.
