Republican cabinet currently discussing invoking the 25th amendment, to remove the orange one from office
The senate reject the objection 93 to 6 (with 1 voting present) The house is still debating and will then vote. I'm not expecting any more objections after this, it's getting late. They will speed through the rest of the count
House reject the objection 303 to 121 It's about to get interesting. Can't wait for the plan to be revealed.
PA objected to. Feels particularly pointless as there no more objections after this and it alone isn’t enough. But. Up to 2 hours of debate.
About 20-25 minutes left of the house debate. Then they can finish the count officially. Senate has already rejected the objection and it wouldn’t make a difference to the overall outcome anyway so all feels a bit pointless at 2am local time. But whatever.
Well that was interesting viewing. Looking at Pence and reading a few comments from him about upholding the law so help me God, seems like he's finally rtealised what a dick his boss is and is trying to distance himself from Trump at a rate of knots. Trump supporters trying to deflect the blame saying their peaceful protest was infiltrated by Antifa to make them look bad. Classic FM reported 4 dead, the woman shot dead and 3 dead due to medical emergencies
@casual tyke It's almost time. He's gonna pass the 270 threshold soon, so the fireworks are about to happen. Hope you're watching
I will be watching with interest. Popcorn for breakfast this morning. You still haven’t got a clue what is happening, do you? Never mind... you soon will.
I know exactly what's happening. They've just certified PA, that takes Biden up to 264. RI is next, that's 268. Then there's a few red states, then Vermont puts him over 270. Really simple. With states to spare.
