    Seems to me that @casualtyke is just doing what Trump is doing. He knows the games over, but he’s stringing you all along right until the very end.

    I think the fairest way to sort this is to wager not money but his membership of the BBS. If he’s right he gets to stay, if not he’s banned for a while.

    Seems fair to me.

    Biden is somewhere around a Ken Clarke/John Major/Michael Heseltine Tory. Not great, but a damn sight better than a Patel or Johnson. He seems like a decent person though with some semblance of empathy - which is always an improvement over a narcissist.

    But as you said yourself, inauguration is on the 20th. So conveniently for your wiggling amidst reality Donal Trump will still technically be President on the 20th, allowing you to sidestep your bet payment.

    If you're really that confident, how about you pay out unless Trump is President on the 22nd of Jan?

    People keep saying that there isn't enough time to do it, but the Vice-President automatically takes over at the point an "unfit to govern or incapable" letter is submitted to the HoR and Senate for consideration. By the time they reach a decision, his presidency will be over.
