They'll think there is a conspiracy whatever happens. A fitting comment (that made me chuckle) by some correspondent as i was flicking channels re some Trump supporters... "They think Lord of the Rings was a documentary"
The alternative social media which Trump types communicate on is alive with violent talks of rebellion. You'll not be surprised to know that many Brits are part of these discussions. Covid, the vaccination rollout, insurrection, muslims, foreigners, EU and patriotism are all big topics of the day. All very depressing and to me shows how far the West have fallen. Lots of ex armed service and law enforcement types basically degrading our nations. Nailed on most of these individuals weren't held in high regard by their colleagues during their service, to be inciting the actions they served to fight against. Makes me want to get back out there rounding these nutters and traitors up.
Thing that gets me is there are genuine conspiracies out there to fight against. Epstein and Maxwell being one of them, a real sh*tstorm involving people of influence (deep state maybe, including Trump) but they'd rather chase bullsh*t theories that fit their narrative. The whole war on drugs is another area full of powerful people. Instead they chase QAnon nonsense.
Tbf one of the covid conspiracy theorists I know has been highlighting high up people and child abuse.
Real scary stuff when they interview the protestors “ greatest president ever “ etc. Lack of security last night - any terrorist organisation could have walked right in there with a bomb no problem
Have any been arrested? The Savile investigation wrongly linked so many celebrities and it's cost them loads of money to defend their innocence. The Savile affair is filthy but easy and lazy targets when got after with no evidence. Producers, directors etc walked away with no real scrutiny on what they had seen. The US however is a different gravy, check out the Yorkshire TV programme made for the Discovery Channel in the early 90s about Boystown, Nebraska. The tape is on YouTube, it was pulled due to external pressures.
It was almost like they wanted it to happen. From a bronze and silver commander stand point, it was a shambles. The department of homeland security would have seen the chatter online, why didn't they react and put in greater numbers? It's almost like they were all stood down.
Not that I'm aware of. I watched that programme on Netflix about Epstein and he obviously was acquainted with a lot of high up people. Seems to be the way in child abuse cases, it all blows up and then nowhere near as many, if any adults end up in court.
Had there been a sprinkling of coloured faces amongst the insurrectionists, I'm pretty sure it would have been a blood-bath. As it was, the police almost invited them in. The National Guard should have been there within minutes but it took several hours. It's clear to me that the forces of law and order were complicit in the whole thing. Or at the very least sympathetic to the rioters.
The person who isn't really mentioned in the Epstein story is Lex Wexner. Some sources reckon he and Epstein were bisexual lovers. This is false, Wexner is the higher up than Maxwell and Epstein. Maxwell I think was Epstein's handler. Wexner and Epstein worked together to drive up property prices in New York, that's where the wealth came from. Wexner is a very interesting person to look into if you like that sort of thing. Serious links to organised crime, he's a smart cookie. Also worth checking the distance between Lexner, Epstein and Epstein brothers properties. The FBI have only searched Epstein properties to gather evidence.
You do wonder if they actually want to look. But its just kids, probably kids who have no one to look out for them so who cares?
Forgot about the pipe bombs, it's been such a mental 24 hours. I personally think he's wanting the 25th amendment to be enacted. So then he can play the victim and martyr of the supposed Patriots.
"Nothing will stop us" says terrorist just a few hours before being shot dead trying to commit treason.
Phenomenal speech by Biden tonight, demonstrating his own statesmanship and the fact that his predecessor is a total Jeremy. There is hope for America in the shape of Joe's decency, that of his nominee as Attorney General Merick Garland, and the growing number of Republicans who are expressing the view (some belatedly) that a line has been crossed.
Very worrying analysis, I think the split in American society is going to take many years to fix, if ever.
Very likely. I'm torn on this one; don't do it and he could run again (and possibly win) in 2024, do it and he can never run again but becomes a martyr.
