    Have you ever spoken to an american service man / woman?

    quite possibly some of the most unhinged persons ive ever had the misfortune to speak to. Everything and i mean literally everything revolves around allegiance to the flag, with a massive dose of god thrown in. our military over here is heavily right wing, but nothing compared to america.

    To be honest I've not in any detail. I did read that the majority of the military voted Biden but as always some will be attracted to the extremes

    The majority still voted for trump I believe, but it was far less republican than it usually is.

    It sounds like one of the terrorists accidentally tased himself and gave himself a fatal heart attack. Proper Four Lions stuff - he might not have saved Trump but he did improve the gene pool.

    that what you up against then, everyone different priorities, my mum stopped going to church after she re married and I said with no malice, when she was on about heaven etc, are you spending 50 percent of time with dad and 50 percent with new chap, how does it work, oh dear wish I never said anything

    This video is from before he went on stage in DC. It isn't them watching the riots. As soon as the speech was over he left. You can't claim it to be one thing, be disproved, and then say 'I don't care'. Well you can, but you know what I mean.

    It's a perfect example of why Social Media plays a ridiculously huge role in the widening of the divide between right and left and why people believe some of the things they do. Generally, not just US Election, false news is shared and seen by millions of people, and the retraction is only seen by a tiny percentage. I use Social Media, less frequently than before, but I hate it.

    Let's concentrate on the facts then.
    Trump incited the violence. Went home to watch it on tv and refused to unequivocally try to end the chaos he'd created as five people lost their lives.

    I wasn't disputing any of that so not sure why you quoted my post? I think my comment on Social Media and widespread falsities vs. retractions is 100% on the money.

    You know as well as I do that they all knew what was going to happen. They were stood there watching with glee knowing what was coming. They caused it to happen.

    That’s why it doesn’t matter when the video was filmed.

    I totally get what you're saying and perhaps I shouldn't have posted the video. I don't believe personally it's incorrect, but I accept it could easily be misleading.

    I stand by my comments though. The event as a whole was a riot and terrorism. It makes little difference to me at what point in the event the video was recorded. Especially when they are the ones that caused it to escalate.
