Possibly but I'm not permanently in Spain so not sure if it is worth it.

Having said that though, will I be allowed back into the UK? As things stand at the moment, who knows :)

I'm not slagging off iFollow, but coverage was great today. Commentator had done his homework. Good quality all round.

Buffered almost of the way through so in that respect poor. The commentary was very good and good repeats and summary

Seen you've mentioned this on another thread too. I have to ask, why on earth should the BBC be available in other countries whose citizens do not pay the license fee? And I ask this as somebody who has lived outside the UK for almost 10 years and is well accustomed to the frustration you've felt today.

You make a good point and if I were a permanent ex-pat I wouldn't question it. However, I'm one of many thousands who split their time between the UK and their second home and I DO pay, and always have done, my licence fee for my Harrogate address. I wouldn't try to evade that.

Of course much has changed since the turn of the year and I'm already questioning the decision two years ago to buy the Spanish property. Brexit, the governments of all European countries and the EU itself have made sure that life will never be the same again. You could argue that being anywhere but the UK at the moment was a better deal but that only applies to those with full residential status in their chosen adopted country. I have invested in the Spanish economy, and continue to do so, but the new rules say I am just a tourist. It's always been the case that non-residents can only stay in Spain for 90 days at a time but it was, apparently, never enforced. It will be now and the "fly south for the winter" retired communities have some hard thinking to do :).

PS Before the usual parties decide to have a go.......there is NO expectation of sympathy on my part. It's my life, my decision and I will decide what to do next.

Considering the FA Cup is sponsored by Deliveroo, Snoop wasn't likely to pop up today anyway, haha.

Picture and commentary were far superior to ifollow. And free of course.

I registered 10 minutes before game without an issue. Thought the coverage was really good - to be fair to Ifollow they are streaming more games at a time and I can imagine there's far more traffic to the website. Having said that they've had more revenue stream so it's something they can work on

It was ok today except that it started buffering just before the first goal and when it recovered the lads were celebrating it.... :(

    I prefer Matt's commentary.

Better quality picture, commentator allowed to finish talking before a break and some half time footage. Far better than the iFollow garbage served up.

Brilliant first half but very frustrating second, constantly buffering.

The fact that you can screen mirror a match from your phone to the tv makes FA Player a million times better than iFollow.

iFollow is such a piss poor service.

This is why I would never pay for a stream. My 3 Mbps download speed is okay for things like Netflix and catch up TV, but it isn't going to cut the mustard for something like iFollow. The EFL actually warn you that 5 Mbps or more is required for decent quality. There's also minimum system requirements for the device you are using. If I'm using Kodi, I just shrug and say "C'est la vie". If I'd paid a tenner I would be mortified.

I know, was more of a point towards how many times he appears when iFollow is in action!
